Medicine Crunch at health organization
The health organizations at Gaushala Municipality are having a shortage of medicine for even a normal ailment.
The shortage was after the District Health Office has failed to supply medicine after the beginning of the financial year. The office did not send the medicine saying that local levels are responsible of purchasing it.
After the shortage, patients are facing difficulties from the last two month according to chief Dr Manoj Das of the primary health centre.
“From the last two months, there is a shortage of medicine and out of 39 types only 2-3 types of medicine are available”, he said.
Chief Das said that patients are compelled to buy even Citamol and pregnant are not getting iron capsule.
Mayor Shiva Nath Mahato of Gaushala Municipality said that medicine will be purchased immediately by making manual.
