Local Level reconstruction Meeting disrupted
The local level reconstruction meeting held at District Development Committee of Saptari on November 6 has been disrupted by the cadres and leaders of Madhesi party.
According to CPN-UML district chairperson Govinda Neupane, the cadres and leaders torn the minute register and disrupted the meeting immediately after the introduction session in assembly room at District Development Committee.
The Local Development Officer Sudev Kumar Pokhrel on behalf of the District technical support committee had called on the meeting in order to get the recommendations regarding reconstruction.
Chairpersons from three major political parties and dozens of leaders and officials from Madhesi party were presented in the meeting.
They said that it is meaningless to organize meeting regarding local level reconstruction in a situation where the dispute on provincial demarcation remains the same.
