The government has announced to conduct all local level elections in one phase on May 14.
The meeting held on the evening of February 19 by the ministry cabinet has fixed the date of election.
The Nepal government’s spokesman and information and communication minister Surendra Kumar Karki said that the country has centered in election. He added that the government had made an important decision to conduct the election.
According to INSEC district representative Bibek Dhungana, the government has also decided to increase the numbers of local level in various districts along with change in boundaries on the meeting held by ministry cabinet on February 20.
