Journo misbehaved by police
Padam Bohara , a representative of Nepal Television at Bhimdatta Municipality-4 has accused police of beating and misbehaving him while he was collecting news regarding illegal lease issue of city development committee.
The victim said that he was beaten by the policemen deployed from Ward police office on charge of taking photos.
He added that he was even detained by the policemen after beating him. Inspector Surya Thapa of Ward police office of Mahendranagar said that he was arrested on charge of having unnecessary discussion with police.
FNJ district branch of Kanchanpur and Nepal press union have condemned the incident on misbehaving and beating of journo.
