Journalist beaten by Unidentified Gang
Journalist Raj Chaudhary (Rajaram), 34, of Sainamaina Municipality-5, Member of Federation of Nepalese Journalist and also working at Buddha community television was beaten by an unidentified gang on 7 November.
He filed a complaint at Area Police office on 8 November, Butwal stating he was beaten near Jagaran chowk, Butwal sub metropolis -9 while returning from work.
Chaudhary has suffered injury on his right hand after being beaten by group of 5 – 6 unidentified persons.
Rupandehi district section of Federation of Nepalese Journalist has condemned the incident through a press release on 8 November.
DSP Bhimlal Bhattarai of Area Police office, Butwal said police is conducting micro investigation and anyone involved in the case cannot escape.
