INSEC Helps In The Treatment Of Rape Victim
INSEC Karnali Province Office has financially helped in the treatment of a 4-year-old girl on 3 July 2020. The girl is a rape victim.
With a motive of supporting her treatment and for legal processing, INSEC Karnali provided Rs 15,000 to the victim’s family, informed INSEC Karnali’s coordinator Narayan Subedi.
The victim was raped on 28 May 2020 and was in a severe health condition. After getting the information regarding the incidence, Violation Watch Group Surkhet formed by INSEC monitored the location on 2 July 2020.
With the reference of the group, the help was provided through Human Rights Strengthening Program.
The accused Raj BK (22) is in judicial custody from 19 June, informed ASI Jay Bahadur Rawat of Area Police Office.
Health checkup of the victim was conducted on 29 May 2020 at provincial hospital.
