INSEC establishes office in Province 2
Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC) has established a provincial level office in Janakpurdham on July 31. INSEC was established in 1989 and has its offices in all seven provinces along with the district representatives in all 77 districts from where it monitors and documents the incidents of human rights violations.
INSEC is mobilizing its offices as per the federal structure of the country. The major objective is to advocate Human Rights issues based on province.
INSEC will be moving forward by coordinating with local , province and federal government for the protection of human rights. INSEC chairperson Subodh Raj Pyakurel while inaugurating the office said that INSEC will move forward in various issues of human rights by coordinating with provincial government.
The office has been established at Pidari Chok and will be active 365 days for documenting human rights violation incidents if necessary.
The office was inaugurated by INSEC chairperson Subodh Raj Pyakurel in presence of representatives from various organizations, civil society,rights activists and journalists.
