INSEC Chairperson and Team Monitors Rolpa Custody
INSEC chairperson Subodh Raj Pyakurel, HURON general secretary Mahamunishwor Acharya, INSEC regional coordinator Bhola Mahat including a team of Human Rights activists have monitored a police custody in District Police Office on November 17.
During the visit, the team had gathered information about the NCP district Incharge Dal Bahadur Khatri and Secretary Santosh Subedi who were arrested on charge of anti-election activity.
They said that they were arrested because of denying participating in peaceful election process. The arrested claimed that they have not terrified people to participate the election and also said that other group has been exploding bombs in the name of party.
INSEC chairperson Pyakurel met with CDO Dr Dijen Bhattarai and discussed about the human rights situation of the district.
