Inmates and Detainees provided with Books
On the occasion of 10th National Library Day , INSEC ad Human Rights Watch Group of Tanahu has handed over books to the inmates and detainees of the District Prison.
INSEC district representative Prakash Chandra Bhattarai and coordinator of Human Rights Watch Group, Ram Lila Subarnakar have handed over more than three dozens of books related to Human rights and literature to the prison chief Tirtha Khanal . While receiving the book, chief Khanal expressed his thankful ness to the representatives.
Speaking at the program, coordinator Subarnakar said that it is important to develop reading habit amongst the inmates. INSEC district representative Bhattarai said it is important to inform the rights of the inmates and detainees along with the development of positive thinking.
After getting books, inmates and detainees looked very happy. Chief Tirtha Khanal said that the environment of the prison has become peaceful and harmony after receiving the books.
