Incident on Caste Discrimination reached into an agreement
Police have arrested Mim Bahadur Buda,58 of Tripurakot VDC-5 on December 1 on charge of caste discrimination on 38 years old DhanKC Kame and Nare Kami of the same VDC however the case was reached into an agreement on December 2.
According to the police, the accused had accepted his guilt and agreed to pay Rs 23,000 to the victims as a compensation on December 2 according to Rom Harsha Sijwal, police in charge of Tripurakot Police Post.
The discussion was held at police post and the accused had given a written commitment assuring that he will not repeat it again in future.
The victims were threatened by Buda to ostracize from the village on November 30.
The victims had lodged a complaint at Police Post of Tripura on December 1 against the accused.
