Former Chief Justice (CJ) Sishila Karki said that the hunger strike staged by Govinda KC and Ganga Maya both are not personnel however it is the issue of 30 million Nepali people.
Speaking at the press meet in Lalitpur on July 3, Karki said that the issues raised by Dr KC for the reformation of medical sector is directly related to Nepali people. She added that Ganga Maya is fighting for justice as SC verdict to arrest the accused was not followed. She urged state to be more serious on this particular issue.
Professor Kedar Bhakta Mathema said that the demand raised by Dr KC is right and government must give priority to it.
Human Rights activist Charan Prasai stressed that government must respect right to life of its citizens.
