Human Rights Defender Misbehaved by Madhesi Front Cadres
The cadres of Madhesi Front have misbehaved former treasurer Shital Shah,52 of FNJ and Suresh Yadav, chairperson of district level human rights watch committee formed by INSEC, on February 22.
The cadres had attacked journalist Shah while he was collecting news regarding the attempted attack on CPN UML leaders in Madhesh. Yadav was also attacked by the cadres while he was trying to protect Shah. Injured Shah is undergoing treatment at Janakpur Zonal Hospital.
In a clash, two cadres from Madhesi front and one cadre of CPN UML were injured.
The cadres had hurled stones in the house of CPN UML leader Raghubir Mahaseth.
