Hearing of Adhikari case postponed
The main plaintiff Noor Prasad Adhikari in the case of Krishna Prasad Adhikari of Gorkha did not attended the district court of Chitwan. The court had issued a notice and summoned him in a court on August 20.
After he did not turn up in the court, the hearing of the case was postponed for September 9 according to the court.
The next legal way will be paved on by the court on September 9 if Noor Prasad do not come to the court.
Earlier, judge Sharma had issued the order to summon Noor Prasad on February 25. Late Krishna Prasad Adhikari of Fujel, Gorkha, was allegedly murdered on 6 June 2004 by cadres of then CPN-Maoist when he had gone to visit his grandparents in Ratnanagar, Chitwan. The deceased’s brother Noor Prasad and father Nanda Prasad had filed a case with police.
After one-and-a-half years, Noor Prasad had registered an FIR holding 13 individuals responsible for his brother’s killing at District Police Office, Chitwan.
