Girl Rescued and Sent it to Reinstatement centre

In an initiation of rights activists, a 14 years old girl has been rescued from the house of her relative and was sent to reinstatement centre. The girl was jointly rescued by District child-wale fare committee, INSEC, Pokhara-Lekhnath Municipality, Pokhara trade and commerce federation, Three angels and District Police Office.

She was rescued based on an information recieved from the victim’s party stating that she is compelled for prostitution and is at risk according to Badri Wagle of Central child wale fare committee. According to him, a person less than 20 years old cannot involve in prostitution even with permission. Similarly, police have arrested the victim’s aunty and 30 years old Laxxu Paswan of Lekhnath Metropolis-13. The investigation will be conducted against the accused according to Chandra Gurung, chief of Women and Children Service Centre.
