Four cadres of Nepal Communist Party re- Arrested
Police have arrested four cadres of Nepal Communist Party led by Netra Bikram Chand on charge of operating anti-election activities in the district. They were arrested immediately after the court had ordered to release them on bail on June 4.
The arrestees were Ghanashyam B.K, of Sharada Municipality-1, Mohan KC of Darma Village council-3, Sakal Basnet and Top Bahadur Dangi of Sukidaha village council-4. Prior to this, they were arrested from different places and charged under public offence.
After remaining in custody for more than a month, the court has released them in a bail amount of Rs 5,000 however they were re arrested immediately by the police as per the direction of home ministry.
Meanwhile, district incharge Dilli Raj Sharma of Salyan accused police of intervention in a peaceful protest against the election. The party has announced for the strike on June 5 against the re arrests of their cadres however there is no such affect of general strike.
