Families of disappeared people honored
The Local Peace Committee of Morang has honored the families of disappeared people on June 19.
The families were honored by CDO Yagya Raj Koirala and coordinator Gopi Achami of Peace Committee during a program. In the occasion families of 23 disappeared people were honored.
In the program, CDO Koirala said that it is state’s responsibility to support the families of disappeared. Semilarly. Coordinator Achhami of the peace committee said that everyone must respect and honored the families as federalism is established in the country due to the their sacrifices.
Secretary Tika Ghimire of Local Peace Committee said that the victim’s family are still in hope that their loved ones will come back and this is very painful situation. He added that this kind of honor will at least heal their wound to some extent.
