Election Code of Conduct to be effective from August 17
The Election Commission has said that the election code of conduct (CoC) for the third phase of local level election in province number 2 will be effective from August 17. The third phase of local level election is scheduled for September 18.
The election code of conduct will be enforced to Nepal government, its ministers, local levels officials, staffs, Nepal Army, Police, political parties and leaders including all election officials.
Similarly, the commission said that the CoC will be enforced to government and private sector media, NGOs and person holding public post. For the candidate, the CoC will be enforced after the registration of their candidacy.
