Dr. Shrestha greeted as the new chairperson of INSEC
Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC) has welcomed Dr Indira Shrestha as the new chairperson of the organization during a program held in the central office on November 20.
She was nominated as INSEC chairperson by the executive committee meeting held on November 16.
Speaking at the welcome program, immediate past chairperson Subodh Raj Pyakurel said that he is confident that her leadership will be successful on the protection and promotion of human rights.
He added that society must be positively reformed by adopting the norms of human rights through a democratic process for achieving the target of social justice.
Chairperson Dr Indira Shrestha said that INSEC campaigners had played a vital role for the credibility of the organization and stressed that support from everyone is needed to achieve the goal of the organization.
INSEC executive director Bijaya Raj Gautam said that he is confident on further effectiveness of INSEC operation in coming days
