Domestic violence Accused Arrested
Police has arrested Durgathali Rural Municipality- 6 Sainapsela residing Raju Jagri, 38 for beating his wife Ramaa Jagri, 28, on 30 December.
She had filed a complaint at District Police Office, Bajhang on 26 December against her husband for severely beating her on 25 December.
DSP Ganesh Bam informed about a case being filed against him for impolite behavior. Their daughter had called and informed the Raju’s elder brother about her mother’s condition, informed Women Rights Forum, Bajhang’s President Jayanti Joshi. She added, presently the victim is kept at Safe House and treated; appeals have been made for justice.
Victim says this isn’t the first time of this incidence.
