Domestic Killing Accused Arrested
Police have arrested Dipak Bahadur Kunwar, 52, of Sanphebagar Municipality-13 on September 2 in accusation of killing his wife Dhanadevi Kunwar, 42, using a domestic weapon.
Min Bahadur Kunwar, the brother-in-law of the victim, told INSEC over the phone that the locals caught Kunwar while he was about to escape after killing his wife and informed at the Area Police Office, Safebagar.
The victim was killed as a result of a domestic dispute. She was killed when she had taken the cattle for grazing. In the initial investigation, it was found that she was killed using a sharp domestic weapon (Hasiya), informed Inspector Joshi to INSEC Representative.
Inspector Joshi said that the accused was brought to the District Police Office, Mangalsen for further investigation. The post-mortem of the body was held at the District Hospital, Mangalsen on September 2, said Inspector Joshi.
