Domestic Killing Accused Arrested
Police have arrested his son Bimal Nepali, 23, on January 13 on the charge of killing his mother Hira Kumari Nepali, 55, of Tumkot in Sandhikharka Municipality-1.
The victim’s side had lodged a complaint at the District Police Office on January 20 alleging that the accused had beaten his mother Hira to death with a pipe during a dispute while he was drunk.
The accused has been arrested and further investigation is underway, said Inspector Ram Narayan Gupta of the District Police Office.
The postmortem of the body has been done at the District Hospital, Sandhikharka on January 14.
