Discharged Maoist Combatant protest in-front of Maoist Central Office
Former Maoist combatant affiliated to the discharged Peoples’ Liberation Army Nepal have organized a sit-in-protest infront of Maoist Central office at Paris Danda on November 15.
The discharged PLA have been protesting with seven points demand since November 6. The protest is to draw attention of the Maoist center party so that their demands is addressed according to Lenin Bista chairperson of PLA. He complained government of trying to suppress the peaceful agitation.
He even warned to retaliate if the government tries to suppress their peaceful agitation. They have been protesting outside the road near the party’s central office after the security force did not allowed them to enter the premises. Large number of security force have been deployed in the area. The sit-in-protest has been monitored by NHRC and INSEC.
