Director’s Committee decides to provide Rs 1 lakh to earthquake victims
The meeting of Committee on Reconstruction Authority director on September 26 has decided to provide additional Rs 1 lakh to the family of earthquake affected area.
Sushil Raj Kamal, CEO of the board said to the media that the procedure of distributing grant has been changed and the family will be provided additional Rs 1 lakh.
Along with this additional amount, a total grant for an earthquake victims reaches to Rs 300,000.Earlier, the government had decided to give Rs. 2 lakh to the affected family.
Along with this decision the earthquake victims will recieve Rs.50 thousand as first installment, Rs. 1 lakh 50 thousand as second installment and Rs 1 lakh as the final installment. Moreover, the government has decided to provide loan up to Rs 3 lakh without interest.
