Debate on Constitution Amendment Bill Begins
The debate on the writ application lodged to stop constitution amendment bill registered in Legislative parliament has begun according to RSS.
The debate has begun on dual bench of chief justice Sushila Karki and justice Ishwor Prasad Khatiwada of Supreme court .
Advocates Shambhu Thapa, Dr Chandrakanta Gyawali including Tika Ram Bhattarai had debated on part of the applicant advocate Tikadhowj Khadka. They debated that demarcation should not be done without the consent and consensus of the province and said that the amendment bill is against the constitution.
The writ was lodged at Supreme court on November 30 against the proposal registered at legislature parliament for the amendment of constitution.
The supreme court had called on for discussion on January 1 on the issue of interim order issued by issuing show cause order on December 8. On January 2, the debate will begin from the government part.
