Debate on Adhikari Murder Incident Continues for Second Day

A second day of debate continues at District Court of Chitwan on September 26 regarding the murder incident of Krishna Prasad Adhikari of Phujel. The hearing commenced from September 25 at District Court of Chitwan.

On Monday, eight advocates participated the debate session on behalf of defendant. The case will be decided on September 27 as five advocate are still left for debate.

In 2004, June 6 Nanda Prasad Adhikari had lodged an FIR at District Police Office of Chiwan demanding the justice against the murder of his son Krishna Prasad Adhikari. After six months, the victims brother Noor Prasad Adhikari had lodged an FIR against 13 people.

Former Maoist cadres had murdered Krishna Prasad Adhikari in 2004, June 6 after abducting him.

Ganga Maya Adhikari, mother of a victim had ended her hunger strike on September 12 after District Court of Chitwan had ordered to take her statement.


Deependra Adhikari
