Dalit Campaigner Sada to be honored on Prakash Kaphle Memorial Day
Asarphi Sada of Agnisair Krishnasabaran Rural Municipality-3, Haripur will be felicitated by “Baidhya-Prakash Human Rights Award 2018” for his contribution on Human Rights and Dalit movement.
He will be honored during the program on August 1 on the occasion of 26th memorial of Prakash Kafle, founder of INSEC according to the founder of the fund, Baidhya Nath Jha.
He will be honored in the assembly hall of FNJ on August 1 during the program with a cash of Rs 3,100 and letter of felicitation.
Sada is continuously engaged for the rights of Dalit and landless, squatters since the last two decades and have contributed on Dalit empowerment and social justice.
He has been advocating for squatters and landless and necessity of land reform in Madhes. He was also tortured during his campaign in the custody of Police and army.
He is equally involved for uplifting the Mushahar community and raising voice for their economic, social and cultural rights.
