Patients at Pokhara Health and Science Academy in Pokhara-Lekhnath Municipality-10 are facing difficulties after the CT scan service has been disrupted since 10 months.
The machine which costs more than 40 million is broken after its operation for only six months. After the disruption of its operation, patients are compelled to pay higher amount to do CT scan in other private health clinics. Director Arjun Acharya of the Health and Science department said that the ministry has been informed about the issue however it is not addressed yet.
INSEC Pokhara, Human Rights Watch Committee, Civil Society for Peace and a team of NGO federation had met the director Acharya and showed their concern regarding the prevailing issue.
