Court Slams five years to a rapist
The District Court of Morang has ordered to sentence 15 year old boy for five years on June 25 after finding him guilty on raping 39 years old intellectually disabled woman.
A single bench of District Court judge Raj Kumar Khatiwada had given the verdict regarding the case. The court has also ordered for the compensation of Rs 15,000.
The accused being under aged will be kept at improvement center and will be doing only 2 and half years jail term.
The complaint against the accused was lodged at Area Police Office of Letang on April 29 and on a same day he was arrested by the police for investigation.
