Court Slams 38 and half years on charge of trafficking
The District Court of Dailekh has ordered to sentence 21 years old Tek Raj Puri of Bhairab Rural Municipality-4, Bhauri for 38 and half years after finding him guilty on trafficking 19 years old woman and her three years old son.
A single bench of district court judge Sanat Chandra Lawat had given the verdict regarding the case. The court has also ordered for the compensation of Rs 1,65,000 from the convict to the victims.
The victim’s party had lodged complaint against the accused at District Police Office on May 7, 2018 on charge of trafficking woman and her son in Banglore of India in IRs 2,20,000.
The victims were rescued from Banglore in coordination from Shakti Nepal and Social Service Center (SOSEC) and was given shelter.
