Court Declares Thirteen Years’ Imprisonment To Rape Accused
Anil Kumar Danuwar, 18, of Katari Municipality-7 has been sentenced to 13 years in prison by the district court for raping a 14-year-old girl. The decision was taken on September 24, 2020.
A bench of Judge Deepak Khanal declared him guilty and ordered him to pay a fine of Rs 5,000 and Rs 15,000 as compensation to the victim.
Tehsildar Raj Kumar Acharya informed that the court has ordered the defendant to deposit Rs 2,200 in the victim relief fund as per Article 71 of the Crime Victims Protection Fund 2075 BS.
