Court Declares 18 Year’s Imprisonment For Rape
The District Court of Chitwan has declared 18 years’ imprisonment to Ajay Kattel (27) of Ratnanagar municipality-13 for raping an 11-year-old girl.
The decision was made by the bench of Judhe Hemanta Rawal on 30 June 2020. The guilty was also fined rs one hundred thousand as a compensation for the victim and was charged rs two thousand for the victim relief fund, informed Shrestedar Rudra Mani Giri to INSEC’s representative.
The guilty had raped the victim on 12 December 2019 and he was arrested on 13 december 2019. He was taken for judicial custody on 27 December 2019. Health checkup of the victim was conducted on 13 December 2019.
