Coordination with stakeholders necessary for Rights protection
The eastern regional director Jhankar Rawal of NHRC said that the commission will move ahead by doing coordination with all stakeholders for the protection of Human Rights. He said that the commission will move forward with joint coordination with activists, organizations and state’s guild to protect civilian’s human rights. He expressed it while addressing the inauguration of fourth Human Rights International festival in Ilam on December 3.
Rawal said that for the protection of Human Rights, movies related to human rights is equally important and added that such movies must be shown in each village for the awareness.
In the festival, four movies Tashi and Monk, Brick Factory, the mirror and Kamaroo were shown. The film festival was organized in coordination with UNDP and Human Rights Commission in Ilam, Janakpur, Nepalgunj and Jumla according to Saroj Thapa of film display group.
