Congress cadres attacks on CPN UML Election Assembly

The CPN UML party said that cadres of Congress have attacked the election assembly of the party at Kushe Village Council-1 in Kaphalwata.

CPN UML party secretary Prem Prasad Gharti said that the cadres of Nepali Congress led by Prithvi Bahadur Sahi attacked the UML cadres while they were reading the election manifesto of the party. In an attack at least three UML cadres were seriously injured according to the party.

According to Gharti, the UML cadre Sher Bahadur Singh was attacked with knife. Similarly other two cadres were injured in stone attack.

The party had postponed the assembly after the incident. Police force was deployed after the incident and investigation is underway according to DSP Bhabesh Rimal of DPO Jajarkot.
