Conflict Victim woman plead INSEC for justice
Gulephun Khatun, 40 of Kadmaha-2 has urged INSEC to initiate her on providing justice. She met with eastern INSEC regional coordinator and urged for the support. Khatun said that she was given a torture by Area Police Office of Rangeli for 28 days in police custody.
The victim has given a written application on October 17 at INSEC and urged for support.
The victim said that she was severely torture by hanging her ups and down on charge of making fake and fraudulent papers for land transfer.
She further accused constable Saroj Pandit of Rangeli Area Police Office of severely torturing her and even spitting in her food.
According to her, she was taken into control by a group of police from Karsiya Police post three months ago from her house. She added that she had already lodged a complaint at NHRC for the justice.
However, inspector Abhichandra Rijal of Area Police Office of Rangeli denied the allegation.
