Conflict victim families deprived of relief
At least 123 displaced families in Achham District have been deprived of receiving relief amount according of secretary Anil Bahadur Bista of Peace Committee.
The government had allocated about 50 million to the conflict displaced families however 123 families were deprived of relief. A single family had received Rs 5,000 per family member.
Secretary Bista said that the missing families will be provided the relief in coming days. He added however it is not sure whether the relief will come or not in future.
Many buildings, administrative office buildings , police post, bank, agriculture offices were damaged during the armed conflict and beneficiaries are facing difficulties as they could not be re built on time.
