Conflict Related Cases Will Be Solved As Per International Norms: Attorney General
Attorney General Raman Kumar Shrestha said that the complaint lodged at TRC and CIED will be decided as per the norms and practice based on an international law.
Speaking at the program organized in Pokhara, Shrestha said that the Act of TRC and CIED is being prepared to be amended based on International norms and practices.
He added that the atrocities and crimes in decade long armed conflict cannot be reconciled with regular legal process and Nepal government is preparing to form a special court.
He further showed his commitment to reconcile the armed conflict cases by using a power provided by law on providing justice to the victims by investigating and studying the complaints lodged at both commissions.
