Complaint Lodged against attempted murder
Complaint against Maheshwor Mahato, 40 of Lahan Municipality-13 has been lodged at Area Police Office of Lahan on January 14 on charge of attempting to murder his 35 years old wife Ram Wati Mahato.
According to the victim’s family, the accused has been torturing his wife from time to time and on January 12 he attempted to murder his wife by attacking her with an axe in a dispute however, the locals saved and rescued her.
The victim’s family have also accused 50 years old brother Chandrasekhar Mahato and sister-in-law Anita Mahato,40 of an accused for helping in a violence. The victim is undergoing treatment at Ram Kumar Uma Prasad Hospital in Lahan.
According to DSP Ganesh Chand of Area Police Office, the accused is at large and search for him is undergoing.
