Committee to mark Int’l Migrants Day
Ministry of Labour and Employment has decided to mark the International Migrants’ Day by organizing various programmes according to RSS source.
The Ministry has formed a 19-member programme organizing committee led by Foreign Employment Promotion Board Executive Director Raghuraj Kafle. The committee comprises Ministry officials, representatives from foreign employment entrepreneurs’ association and of labour organizations, foreign job training institutes, and media.
A week long activities would begin from December 13. December 18 is marked as International Migrants Day every year.
