Commission expresses grief on series of incident Nationwide
The National Human Rights Commission (NHRCN) said that the monitoring has found that there has been increase in serious incident of violence throughout the nation in context of second phase of parliamentary and provincial elections in 45 districts.
The commission has expressed its grief on the injury of seven people and death of one temporary police during the explosion in Tulsipur of Dang on November 28.
The commission has condemned the explosion near the assembly in Lalitpur, ambush in Udaypur and series of explosions in Morang, Jhapa, Bara, Mahottari, Saptari, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Nawalparasi and Gulmi targeting candidates and voters.
Similarly, the commission’s monitoring has found that the obstruction of road in Baneshwor of Kathmandu during the election assembly has affected the commuting of people. The commission has urged the government to create fearless environment for election by strengthening the security.
