Commission committed for June 14 election: Chief Commissioner

Chief election commissioner Ayodhi Prasad Yadav said that the commission is committed to conduct second phase of election on June 14 in 461 local levels. While interacting with chief monitoring team and micro monitors of the first phase of election, he added that the commission is working in a full fledge to successfully conduct the second phase of election in clean and fearless environment.

He said “ We do not have any formal reporting of increasing the local level.” He further said that the commission is working by focusing on conducting election in all 461 local levels.

Chief Commissioner Yadav said that the commission has learnt the lesson from the first phase of election and will improve from the lesson learnt.

Commissioner Yadav said that the first phase of election was peaceful than expected and further praised the role of monitors.

The first phase of election was conducted in 34 district with 283 local levels under province number 3, 4 and 6. In the first phase of election, the commission had deployed government secretaries, assistant secretaries, vice-secretaries and branch officers in various districts with a role of monitoring and micro-monitoring.
