Civil Society Urges not to use children and school during election campaign
The Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC) and other active rights organization of the district have drawn the attention of acting Chief District Officer Prabin Dhakal of Parbat regarding the possible use of children and schools in an election campaign.
The attention was drawn after the news regarding the use of children by the political parties in their election campaign was revealed according to Chairperson Rajendra Pahadi of civil society of Parbat.
In the letter, the society has urged the concerned body to restrict use of children in election campaign. Similarly, the same letter includes making the election poll disabled friendly.
While receiving the letter of memorandum, acting CDO Dhakal committed of restricting using children in election related activities.
