Budget allocated for Targeted community spent somewhere else
The stakeholders accused that budget allocated for targeted community could not be spent and some of them are frozen. They said that the spent budget however is also being mishandled.
District Development Officer Ganga Ram Shah said that only 10.55 million rupees spent out of 20.50 million budget allocated for the targeted community.
Most of the fund is distributed to NGOs for awareness program and at the end of the financial year it is being mishandled according to former FNJ chairperson Biadhya Nath Jha.
In the financial year 2014/15, total budget of 1.1 million was spent in Rautahat VDC from ward number 1 to 7 according to technician Bishnu Dev Yadav.
According to him, in financial year 2014/15, the budget allocated for the women, Dalit and children including the targeted community was spent in electricity. In Bairawa VDC, the budget of targeted community is spent in making toilets and drinking water. The budget allocated for women is being spent on volunteer’s motivational allowance and uniform.
The planning monitoring and administrative officer Dhirendra Kumar Yadav said that there are complaints regarding the mishandling of budget. He added that homework are being done to improve the past weakness,
