Bomb Terror in Rupendehi

Terrifying activities have been operating in Rupendehi district along with the approaching date of second phase of local level election.

After concluding the registration of candidacy nomination, several incidents of planting bombs in the house of UML candidates have been reported which has terrified the locals, candidates and voters of the district.

On June 24, hoax petrol bomb was recovered from the house of CPN UML vice-mayor candidate Uma Kafle at Siddarthanagar Municipality according to DSP Bel Bahadur Pandey of DPO. DSP Pandey said that this is a criminal activities motivated with “Propaganda’ and search for the people involved in this activity is undergoing.

Police said that until now, three incidents of bomb has been reported targeting the CPN UML candidates.

Two days ago, a bomb was recovered from the gate in the house of ward candidate Indra Jit Yadav of CPN UML. Similarly, a vehicle used by CPN UML cadres has been attacked with a petrol bomb.
