Bomb explosion targeting Left Alliance Candidate
INSEC district representative Bhupendra Bista of Dadeldhura said that a bomb has been detonated targeting the HoR candidate Khag Raj Bhatta of left alliance.
The District Police Office of Dadeldhura said that the bomb was detonated at around 8:30 Pm at Alital Rural Municipality-8 while candidate Bhatta was returning back after finishing election assembly at Parshuram Municipality on December 4.
The front part of the vehicle was damaged due to the explosion and who detonated the bomb is not known yet according to police. After the explosion, the candidate was escorted by the police.
According to Kanchanpur District representative Komal Niranjan Bhatt, a bomb has been detonated in the house of Nepali Congress candidate Ramesh Lekhal for constituency number 3.
An unidentified people in a motorbike had detonated the bomb at around 8 pm according to DSP Gyan Bahadur Sethi of DPO.
Police said that the incident is under investigation.
