Appeal to stop violence and attack on Syria
The Accountability Watch Committee (AWC) has condemned the unimaginable loss of civilians in Syria and violence against them in power tussle.
The committee while releasing a press statement on February 28 has appealed all concerned party and Syrian government to immediately stop human loss and enforce seizure of war issued by United Nations.
Since 2011, more than 400,000 civilians have lost their lives and more than 10 million people are displaced and living life as refugees. In this modern era, Syrian people are losing their life in a daily basis followed by severe violence and atrocities which is condemnable and this is the vacuum situation for humanity, the statement said.
“We highly appeal Nepal government to raise this issue in an international arena to stop violence against Syrian citizens and children. We also appeal and urge both party to seize war and be accountable towards its citizens”, the statement said.
