Ambush detonated Targeting candidate, Five injured

An unidentified group of people have detonated an ambush targeting the vehicle of Nepali Congress leader and candidate Dr Ram Sharan Mahat of Nuwakot constituency number 1 and candidate Ramesh Kumar Mahat on November 18 in Dandagaun Shikarichaur , Kakani Rural Municipality. Three cadres were injured in an explosion. The bomb was planted in the street and identified as a “pressure Cooker” bomb.

Five people were seriously injured after a vehicle with registration number Ba16Cha 665 rolled over  as soon as ambush was detonated. In an incident, Upendra Mishra, Sabin Lama, Esh Kumar Tamang, Lila Ghartimagar and Ramesh Rai were seriously injured according to CDO Jagdish Baral. The injured were rushed to Kathmandu for treatment.

The team was attacked while they were on the way to election assembly in Chatureli of Kakani rural municipality. The vehicle carrying Ramesh Kumar Mahat , NC candidate for state assembly  of the same constituency was escaped just by a meter away.
