Allegation of Witchcraft- Accused Arrested
Bhagrati Chaudhary (37) of Kailari Rural Municipality- 2 was beaten and injured on 12 March 2020 by Raj Kumar Chaudhary (50) and Raju Chaudhary (28) in allegation of being a witch. They were arrested on 13 March.
Complaint was filed against the victim on 13 March at the District Police Office, Kailali. Investigation was ongoing in the case informed DSP Dakshya Kumar Basnet.
The victim has minor wounds according to the health checkup conducted at Seti Provincial Hospital on 13 March, informed DSP Basnet.
