Agitation withdrawn after 10 points agreement
The agitating group of people in Jhapa have withdrawn their agitation after the political parties and local administration has agreed 10 point agreement along with providing 1 million rupees as a relief to the family of Naresh Thapa ,32 of Arjundhara -11 who died in a police firing.
The all party meeting held on October 28 at Area Police Office of Birtamod has decided to send letter to the Home Ministry for providing the relief to the victim’s family member.
Naresh Thapa, 32 of Arjundhara-11 died in a police firing during the demonstration against police for apathy shown on investigation on a suspicious death of 11 years old Laxman Siwakoti of Arjundhara.
The situation was more tensed after the death of Thapa. The local administration had to impose curfew after the situation was out of control.
