Activities of civil society must be transparent: Chair Pyakurel
INSEC chairperson Subodh Raj Pyakurel said that the activities of civil society must always be transparent. He said that civil society organizations must be accountable on each and every activities that they perform. He expressed his view while speaking at the two days workshop program organized by INSEC in Kathmandu in coordination with USAID and FHI 360 on “Analyzing gaps in internal governance of CSOs”.
He added that active civil society organization must have sound internal governance as it has a direct impact in the society.
Pyakurel said that the government must focus its plan based on the citizen’s interest by eradicating ill practices along with prosperity. He added that government must support NGOs.
