Manchala Kumari Jha, member of Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) said that the investigation on 1000 complaints lodged from province number 1 will be initiated within one month.
The commission has inaugurated the provincial office in Biratnagar on June 4 and in the program she said that the commission has to investigate 1000 complaints of conflict era within three months and send the report to upper level.
She even said that if the commission could not give a valid reason during the time frame, the committee might be changed. In 14 district under the province number one 6,288 conflict era complaints have been lodged in the commission.
In the program, member Jha stressed that commission must work without any biasness and should not protect the perpetrators of grave human rights violation.
In province number 1, the coordinator of the investigation committee is assistant attorney general Chiranjibi Parajuli of Biratnagar Hight court whereas legal expert Keshav Kumar Nepalu and Meena Sedai is a member.
